Cheap money

Their money is worth almost nothing (Jan. 08: 1.09 CHF) these days and you can make huge savings in US IT stores. Just ensure you won’t get redirected to a localized non-dollar store where the exchange rates haven’t been/won’t be updated (aka proxy your way through the internet).

So storm the online shops and get new hardware as long as you can!

In dec I ordered an umpc for way less than in euro/chf land. But some stores don’t allow you to be outside CH though. Anyway, you can tell them you are in us in the registration form and set the shipping address to your ch-address Worked for me, but attention when you are doing it.

if you have the resources to buy new hardware, why not ;) good hint! how did you come to this? was it a free minute between a computernetze and a physics learning-session? ;)

You always, always, always have time for other things while learning for exams. Always!

    Good hint!

Especially smaller shops let you trick their localization. Huge savings from time to tome.
But won’t work tomorrow (macexpo) Hope at least apple uses the current exchange rate when setting the prices.
